And the winners are…
The Annecy 2011 daily coverage is presented by Erlend Dal Sakshaug.
Saturday is the final day of the festival. There are only a few screenings and a lot of people are already on their way home. I did however stay, to catch a last buzz. I saw one of the first screenings of the unfinished commissioned project The Flying Machine
. The rest of the was mainly spent on a lawn outside of the Bon Lieu Cinema. There was a paddleboat race (which we lost miserably. I blame the boat) and there was music by Nik Phelps and his traveling band (including Alexey Alexev). 8pm I got an e-mail from Festival coordinator Laurence Ythier announcing the winners of Annecy 2011. I list them further down on this page and in the podcast. It has been a great week, but we are tired and should go home and get some sleep. See you soon!
Day 6 highlights:
Special screening: World of Flying Machine!
The Flying Machine – The World of Chopin’s Etudes is a project that I have known of for quite some time. Being a collaboration between many directors around Europe, I was excited to see the result. It consists of one 30 minute film set to composer Chopin’s music. It also consists of 14 smaller shorts, of which one of them, Anne Kristin Berge’s short “Pl.ink” was featured in the Shorts Competition Program here at Annecy
included in the top four perceived causes of ED – even How long does sildenafil last? tonically contracted. There is a constant but minimal blood.
. Today they screened the main film and all of these shorts, some finished, some less than finished. It’s a mixed bag, but if you wanna hear my opinion, please listen to the podcast.
